It's fun to look at the picture, but in truth, I'd be ducking, running and screaming with my hands on my head. I like looking at birds close up, but prefer a glass between us. How did you get him out? And how did he get in??
She's actually my pet. My dog found her on the ground in April. She had a bad leg and wing. Since I couldn't let her die, I took her to a local rehabilitation center. But, due to her leg and wing, they were going to euthenize her. They told me sparrows make good pets and encouraged me to keep her. So I did and now she flys around the house and thinks she owns the place. I've never had a bird before and she's both fun AND annoying.
How adorable! How nice that you were able to save her. That is such a lucky birdie! I have a finch but he stays in the cage. I just love birds. I used to have 2 doves. They start their cooing noises at 4:00am though.

BTW, her name is Toolah. I was watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding when we named her.
